Children’s rights are the rights of special care and protection of children. Children’s rights include the rights of physical/ mental health, safe environment. And protection from mental abuse, harassment, good food, quality education and many more.
Children also have a right to human identity; like a good name, citizenship, it also includes freedom of speech; if they find something offensive they have the right to talk about it. And also freedom of discrimination; freedom of color, religion, sexuality, disability, etc. let’s talk about some basic rights of the child.
RIGHT TO AN IDENTITY:
An identity right allows a child to enjoy all of their human rights. It includes a family name, surname, date of birth, gender and nationality of an individual.
RIGHT TO EXPRESS HIS VIEWS:
A child has all the right to speak, about anything, if they found something offensive, or if they found something interesting, they can truly speak about it. It is their human right to take part in the discussion.
FREEDOM OF THOUGHT:
No one has the right to own some one’s mind, a child can think about anything. It is their right to hold a viewpoint or thought. This right gives a child the ability to talk freely in society.
Children Rights to health include healthy living, good medical care, and good food. Children’s are the most fragile beings they need good care because also as an adult they serve our societies in many ways, so it is their right to live as a healthy human being.
PROTECTION FROM SEXUAL EXPLOITATION:
Sexual harassment is the grossest right of a child. We need to protect our child from these kinds of situations because mental abuse or any other sexual abuse can cause long/short time effects on the child’s mind and body. It also affects their parents and communities.
Children need a stable environment to grow as a kind well human being. It is a parent’s responsibility to provide them all equal rights in which he can enjoy childhood filled with love and kindness. As a result, they grow up as a responsible and kind individual for their parents and also for other people.
Quality education is the most important right of a child. Because education gives them a path to bring out themselves from poverty. It gives them knowledge; how to move in society, how to make themselves successful. A successful life is dependent on good quality education.
Guidance is the key to make the child more responsible. It is the parent’s duty to guide their children about everything, that’s how they can move in society as a manner able human being.
